Diabetes UK is the leading charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of every person affected by or at risk of diabetes.
Diabetes UK’s (DUK) original brief started with brochures, conference guides, posters and pocket guides and grew to branding the actual venue from escalator vinyls, mobile phone charging units and 12 metre wide welcome banners to fun run sail banners, totem/pillar wraps and t-shirts! – A bit of everything!
From the moment you got off the DLR at the Prince Regent’s entrance to the London ExCel, you were greeted by large vinyl graphics. As you walked into the centre you were guided by direction signage to registration, where you were given your conference bag with the 72pp Conference Guide, 24pp Exhibition Guide, 16pp Passport, A6 Z-Fold pocket guide and even lunch vouchers.
Everything was designed adhering to DUK guidelines, using their strong colour palette and images from their 2014 Conference. With the Conference lasting three days, with very clear activities happening on each day, we colour coded sections to ensure the information was clear and easy to follow. We also had to take into consideration sponsor logos and their guidelines.
